The cruise was nice, and I bought a cookbook

I will write about the cruise, but sufice it to say, the food was quite good, and I bought a cookbook. We tried to make something form it when we got home, but that will have to wait until tomorrow to see more about that.

At first, I tried eating only bland simple food, but found that to be very hard, as I couldn’t season it, the way I could at home. By the third day, I was eating full meals, but still watched, when I could, to see waht was going into them. Omelets, fish, that sort of thing. Toward the end, I was eating the Indian foods they were serving, but that was it.

The cookbook has some great recipes, and I’m hoping to make more than the one I will be reporting on tomorrow. It was called Savor. I just looked to see if it was available anywhere, but don’t see it, even on Amazon (well, yes, it is sold used and new by sellers on Amazon, but for far more than I paid for it.

After I bought it, my mother wanted one too, but she doesn’t cook, so we were a bit surprised.
