Cartoonist revises the cartoon

Cartoonist has redone the banner and redone the cartoon, especially after the last two kitchen failures.

As I mentioned before, if the batter doesn’t taste good, we have concluded that the resulting cooked food won’t either.

Cartoonist says to say that she doesn’t like how I cropped the banner, however.

Strange oven

When Cartoonist was out of town, she kept on cooking. She was down at her grandmother’s house, and wanted to show off some of the things she had been baking. However, my mother had a new oven, and it had no directions, so when Cartoonist put her chocolate nibs in to cook, she couldn’t figure out how to turn off the oven. And my mother was no help, because the oven was so new, she hadn’t yet baked in it. Eventually, she figured it out, and nothing burned, but she was frustrated.

It is sometimes hard to cook in other’s kitchens.
